Welcome on the modelling site of Wout Moerman. I build and fly mainly rubber powered free flight models. This website shows many of my creations and I hope to stimulate others to join me in this fascinating hobby. I have translated parts of this website into english, but not yet all of it.
!! NEWS !!
- The Malmstrom Hollandair Libel semi-scale model is now spray-painted and almost finished.
- An info-page about a curious Dutch aeroplane: de Schelde S.21.
- A new ornithopter, the Little Flapper.
- The Cosmic Wind, a depron
version of the Raymond Malmstrom design.
Here are a few examples of different classes which I build. By clicking on the text or pictures you will find more of my models in that class. Some pages are translated into english, in that case a link can be found in the right upper corner.
It might seem strange to dedicate a few pages entirely to propellers. But the prop is a vital part of rubber driven free flight models. Only the right combination of model, rubber and propeller will result in a good performing model plane.
Who wants to start building a rubber driven flying scale model has to visit the exellent site of Mike Stuart, who has an elaborate tutorial about building a Comper Swift. And simply the best forum on the internet is the Small Flying Arts forum.
