Here is the Tichenor Midget. It has a 13 inch wingspan, weighs about 8 grams and flies on a loop of 3/32" rubber.
It is very futuristic for a design from 1928! In those days the A-frame pusher
was the state of the art, and this model is in fact a half A-frame pusher.
I don't have the original plan but Al Backstrom has put his version of the Midget
in "the Tissue" a few years ago. I heard from him that the only modification he made was the push fit wing mount which
makes trimming and transport a lot easier. The original had the wings glued to the stick fuselage. I have built it as drawn in The Tissue.
It is a good flier, indoor as well as outdoor.
